Sushi Ya – Budget Japanese Restaurant

July 20, 2010 // 1 Comment

We continue sharing our hidden (budget) gems in Barcelona. This time we are presenting the best price – quality japanese restaurant in town: Sushi Ya

We call it (budget) gem because the menu is less than 10 euros, even cheaper if you go for the Teriyaki options and it always includes Miso soup and noodles (or Salad and Gazpacho during the summer). The assorted sushi dish costs 7,5 Euros. They do wonderful and fresh rolls, like the classic Spicy Tuna Roll, Hot sushi with prawn tempura or cream cheese with salmon roll. We have tried almost every single dish on the menu and we loved it all!

When it comes to seafood, Spain is one of the best gourmet destinations. Many people love it but are afraid of the prices. We have the perfect solution for this problem: La Paradeta.

En Ville Restaurant

En Ville is our favorite pick for a relaxed lunch in the old town. It is located in Raval, not far from Ramblas. The decoration reminds us of the 20′s with two semi-open spaces, wicker chairs, marble and wooden tables and a variety of plants and flowers. The mirrored walls reflect a quaint old fireplace under a vaulted ceiling.

We love unique bars and La Plata is undoubtly one of the most special places in the Old town.
